Frequently Asked Questions

What is an LED Scoreboard?

An LED video scoreboard is an electronic scoreboard that uses light-emitting diodes to show the score, game clock, and other game information.

What is the difference between a video scoreboard and a fixed digit scoreboard?

A video scoreboard shows full-color video, replays, graphics, and sponsor content on an LED display, while a fixed digit scoreboard shows the score, clock, and period in set digit positions. Many programs use both, with a fixed digit scoreboard for scoring and a video display for entertainment.

Does Watchfire make indoor and outdoor scoreboards?

Yes. Watchfire makes indoor video scoreboards for gyms and arenas, outdoor video scoreboards for fields and stadiums, and fixed digit scoreboards for both.
